I don’t think you can go wrong when you listen to a historic building tell you what it wants. The Champlain Mill is simply extraordinary to behold with it’s location on the  intensely beautiful Winooski River. Choosing paint colors, flooring materials, furniture pieces, all flowed from the natural direction of creating larger than life-sized murals of the history of the Mill to hang in the interior. With the natural warmth, it’s an atmosphere you want to linger in.

The new Waterworks takes full advantage of the original soaring ceilings, wooden beams, and riverside setting, but the decor and menu reflect a fresh sophistication.
