A beautiful transformation is an accumulation of many steps beginning
with listening to your needs and wants.
Dark cabinets, and lack of lighting can lead to feeling fatigued, and uninspired.
Many different types of lighting were introduced, including customized hand leafed pendants revealing the original gold underneath to achieve warmth. All lighting are on dimmers to achieve a variety of moods for dining, entertainment and function for meal prep. The style of the pendants carries the design aesthetic of the cabinet mullions for a cohesive look.

Time flies when we’re having fun and creating a life! This sitting room was ready for a refresh and to be utilized as a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the home.
The deep seated reading chairs and ottomans were perfectly suited for the relaxed nature of the sitting room design and they were in good condition so we had them reupholstered. Decorative buttons and trim added to the arms and skirt of the custom wedge sofa make for a truly bespoke piece created to fit nicely in the window area. Lush fringe was added to the draperies to create layered softness.

As we change and grow in life, so does our design style. This room had great bones, it just needed to become a reflection of our client’s current tastes.
We were given the opportunity to design this dining room right down to the serving dishes on the table! We used the existing dining table and side chairs, giving the table base a painted finish, painted a finish on the chairs and reupholstered the seats. The host chairs were custom made with cushy seats so comfortable you want to linger long after the meal is done. Decorate tape and fringe was added to the existing wing chair in the corner to add a bit of flair and create a subtle statement piece that coordinates beautifully with the drapery.

The piano wasn’t being utilized and didn’t fit with the client’s lifestyle. Because of the vast area in this living room more furniture was needed to accommodate entertaining and to create a cozy atmosphere with multiple seating areas.
More ambient and task lighting was added creating harmony and warmth. Various seating areas were arranged for intimate or one on one conversation to large seating areas for a group setting. The fireplace surround was painted a muted tone with a very light decorative paint finish to update and balance out the room. All styled with the client’s vast collection of heirlooms creating an interesting, unique aesthetic.
Ever feel frozen when making interior design decisions because you’re just unsure and don’t want to make an expensive mistake?
A clean, contemporary take on this living room with fuschia chairs and custom art brings it all to life.
Various furniture pieces from different homes and periods of our clients’ lives styled this additional sitting room. Realizing a home office would be better suited to their lifestyle, a full transformation was needed.
Built-ins house filing cabinets and computer equipment. Newburyport Blue paint, white trim, millwork, lush wood tones with inlay bring a classic sophistication to the home office.
We updated this bathroom that had a contractor grade vanity to a modern farmhouse look, including a beautiful tiled shower and a wall mounted commode giving the marble floor a seamless look.
The eccentric lines were played upon to create a charming guest bath. A custom vanity was created using white oak and applying a hand waxed finish to pull out the grain for an organic, luxurious feel. Installing the faucets in the wall gave the extra room needed for the light, airy, spa ambiance.
